ELGP fields candidates in Ribble Valley DC after gap of 8 years
New members Oi Mei Wrightson & Gaye McCrum poll around 10% of the vote standing for the first time.
Oi Mei defeated Labour in Wiswell & Barrow whilst Gaye prevented an uncontested "election" in Chatburn.
Fellow new member Louise Yates says that Oi Mei & Gaye's example shows that new members can make a quick impact in the Green Party.
"I've enjoyed supporting them."
